I chose this blog’s name long before the 2011 Arab Spring in tribute to the Just Bahraini campaign launched by the Bahraini blogger pioneer Mahmood Al-Yousif. The message was “No Shi’i, No Sunni, Just Bahraini” which I think is a powerful idea we can all support. No need to be stirring up differences between people when we can accomplish more by working together.
